In 2018, North American Construction Group (NACG) moved into their new corporate headquarters and fully-equipped maintenance facility in Acheson, Alberta. . The property includes an Equipment maintenance shop/corporate office and the adjacent Atlas building that is home for the NACG track frame shop, NACG telematics area, BNA Remanufacturing, NUNA Logistics and Brake Supply. The shops hosts around 160-200 people including HET’s, welders, machinists, Bench hands and an NDT specialist.
As well as hosting our executive and corporate support teams, the Acheson maintenance facility spans approximately 50,000 square feet. The main shop has 11 mechanical bays capable of equipment up to 797 sizing, 2 welding bays, 2 component rebuild bays, 2 outside rebuild pads with crane capability, a paint and sandblast bay, and a dedicated wash bay. This shop is fully equipped with cranes with capability up to 70 ton, in floor
heating, and each bay is equipped with a specialized ATC Snap-On toolbox, and in-floor exhaust systems.
The main shop and our corporate office is situated on 30 acres in a 62,400 sq. ft. building.

We also have our own Custom Hose Assembly Manufacturing Facility on site.
The adjacent Atlas shop is a 51,000 sq. ft. facility. The BNA Remanufacturing area has 14,000 sq. ft. of rebuild area, the new track frame shop has 14,400 sq. ft. of rebuild/welding area and paint/sand blast area that is 5400 sq. ft. The paint bay is around 1125 sq. ft. and the sandblast bay is also 1125 sq. ft. The Atlas building also includes our state-of-the-art Telematics area, NUNA Logistics and a Brake Supply warehouse.
Within our massive state of the art maintenance facility in Acheson, Alberta, North American can offer a new lease on life to tired and worn-down heavy equipment through complete and partial rebuilds. We have extensive experience in rebuilding large excavators, shovels, dozers, graders, haul trucks, and loaders. We can also source equipment through our partnership with DGI Logistics to assist in adding new assets to a customer’s equipment fleet.
With 2 large size welding bays and 70-ton crane capacity, NACG can easily tackle a variety of welding projects and machining tasks.

In our NACG hose assembly manufacturing facilities, we use tested processes and procedures to manufacture OEM Level Quality assemblies. We manufacture all our hosing for our own Fleet and can produce this product for our clients. Hoses are stamped with Work Order numbers, and Parts numbers for easy tracking of the product.
At North American, we utilize our global partnerships such as DGI Logistics to source required parts worldwide, providing our clients with unique and cost-effective options.
Our extensive in-house capabilities include machining, welding, and technical repairs. We also push and extend the reusability of all parts through our years of experience gained from working alongside our clients in the oilsands. We Rebuild our clients track frames to an industry best standard and are able to provide machine down emergency repairs on components and track frames. We provide loaner parts and components from our extensive inhouse inventories to get our customers up and running as quickly as possible. We also utilize weld peening/stress relieving on all critical welds involved with track frames and components.
